Most people are posting about New Years today. I'm seeing a lot of 2014 recaps and 2015 hopes. But today is not New Years Eve in my house. In my house, it's the third birthday of my oldest son, Jasper.
I'm always amazed as another year goes by with this mischievous toddler. He grows up a little bit more every day. It feels like just yesterday I was holding him in my arms, a helpless newborn. Today, I'm having conversations with him. When did this happen?
They say these are the years that go by quickly. In the day-to-day, I feel like it lasts forever. But in hindsight, it goes by way too fast.
Jasper is my independent one. He's never seen a mountain (couch) he can't climb, a monster (dad) that he can't battle, or a race that he can't win. He's my little cowboy. He love animals and being outside. He challenges me every single day, and he fills my heart and home with love.
So a great big happy third birthday to my little (big) boy.
