1782185_10151911832126752_1261199154_nSo yesterday I wrote a little bit about my dog Beau. After publishing a short 100 words on him and some thoughts of the day, I had a couple people ask me what his story is. Beau is one of those dogs that has a troubled past. I don't know what he went through as a puppy, but thankfully he had a good home before he came to us, a place he could learn to trust people. But you can still see those scars running deep in his heart.

The thing about him, though, is that he never gives up on people. When I first saw the ad for him, I couldn't shake the feeling that he was meant to come home with us. When I met him, I knew that my gut had been right. But taking him home hadn't been without its trials. It took him a long time to warm up to us, to see me as both his protector and partner. But it's the ones that you have to win over that find a place deep in your heart.

I'm sure I'll have more to tell you about him in the future... For now, I'm signing off.
