Throughout my year+ of being a published author I have met some fantastic people. People like Sara Barnard, Andrew Lorenz and Carmen DeSousa who always have encouraging words, advice, and fun conversations. I don't think I'd be where I am today without them (and so many more people). So, I thought I share some of their newest releases.
Legacy #3 just released on April 23rd and is the 4th comic book released by Andrew Lorenz and September 17 Productions. I have been fortunate enough to not only call this awesome guy my friend, but also work with him on a comic book project to be released in 2015 sometime.
Sara Barnard is a mother and author and a very busy one at that. She has had multiple new releases in the last few months! I have had many "coffees" with this lovely lady over the internet and am very proud of her and her accomplishments :)
The Calling by Sara Barnard
Esau Fitzpatrick is bad at being good-and even worse at being bad. As he waits for his sweetheart, Ella Allen, inside the Paisley Settlement church, a brewing storm erupts and lightning strikes, setting the church aflame. Ella and her parents pull Esau from the fire, but his parents are lost in the blazing inferno. Angry at God, Esau flees his home and all he holds dear, only to fall in with the notorious Covington-Jones gang. He journeys down the path to destruction and darkness, reliving the hellish fire in his nightmares. Ella clings to the prayer that Esau will find his way back to a godly path - and to her. But Esau is gone, and her world is falling to pieces. Ella must lean on God in a way she's never had to before as she follows her heart against everyone's wishes. Can she dare to believe that Esau will ever change? Esau's life as an outlaw comes to a head during an epic cattle rustle. He is forced to choose between eternal hellfire and the rocky path of the Lord. Will Ella still be waiting for him? Or has he lost her forever? God reaches out to Esau again, but will it be in time

A Heart Forever Wild #4 of the Everlasting Heart series by Sara Barnard
When all of their dreams come true, will Sanderson and Charlotte still have what started it all - their everlasting love? In this final installment of the Everlasting Heart series, Sanderson and Charlotte must make a home for themselves in the Army town of Fort Bidwell, California. When the job as an Indian agent begs him to round up the peaceful area Indians for execution, Sanderson again runs afoul of the government. In answer to the broken promises of the Army, Sanderson and Jerry turn to a well-paying job with the railroad. However, they are warned to turn a blind eye to the treatment of their Chinese workers ... or else. But can money buy this formerly-happy Arkansas family the happiness they are so desperately searching for? Meanwhile as Charlotte stands up for Cotton against the town bullies, she accidentally falls into favor with Johnny Tan, the handsome young outlaw who slowly transforms into both Sanderson's nemesis and his saving grace. In a world where women are expected to be silent, can Charlotte be a parent Cotton, a wife to Sanderson who seems to have fallen more in love with money than with her, and friend to Minerva, who seems to be drifting farther and farther away?

And lastly, but certainly not least is Carmen DeSousa. She has been there right from the start, encouraging me to pursue publication. She has continued to be a great support and I am just LOVING this new series of hers. She just released the prequel and let me tell you, you're gonna love it!
Creatus (They Exist) The Prequel by Carmen DeSousa
For four thousand years, creatus have concealed themselves from the humans who hunted them almost to extinction. Now, one creatus will endanger them all by breaking one of their laws: falling in love--with a human.
Warning, if you haven’t read the Creatus Series, this prequel doesn't offer answers about Creatus; it only sets the stage. This prequel starts fourteen years ago, so you can get a look into the characters' lives leading up to the full story. Prepare yourself for a cliffhanger ending… Don’t say I didn't warn you.
Rating note: Although this story would probably receive a PG-13 rating, the content is appropriate for ages sixteen and older due to alcohol and drug use. Neither, however, is ever glorified. There are also some scenes of driving under the influence. Please know that I do not condone these actions, and they are only used to display the character's state at the time.
