Cover Reveal: Unforgiving Plains

I am so beyond excited to share this cover art with you. From the moment I opened the file with the cover art to give feedback or approve, I'd fallen in love. As soon as it was approved by all parties, I went and got it printed, framed, and hung on my wall along with my other book covers.

So, without further ado, the cover for Unforgiving Plains:

And while we're on the topic of pictures; I got a new author photo taken by a wonderful photographer, Melanie Reimer Photography over the weekend. We had some fun ducking under electric fences, shooing horses away (they really wanted to be involved), and crouching in long grass praying the woodticks didn't notice us haha.

No, we weren't trespassing. It's my parents' property. lol

How I did last week:

Writing: I did not too bad on Betrayed by the Ocean once I broke through my writer's block. Probably not 1,000 words a day, but it averaged out to something around there. Editing of Owned by the Ocean is a little behind and I'll be finishing up chapter 7 today. As for beta reading, I finished! 5 chapters :)

Pregnancy: 32 weeks! Wow! I've noticed that I'm waking up every 2-3 hours at night--I've decided this is my body preparing me for when the baby is here. Good news is, I get to watch some beautiful sunrises.

House: Still no brick. Backsplash is nearly done. It has proven to be a much larger job than expected but does it look beautiful. We chose to install the tile at a 45 degree angle, which makes for a very nice look, but a lot of extra cutting.

Goals for this week:

Writing: 1,000 words a day on Betrayed seems to be a good goal so I'll stick with that. Also another chapter edited of Owned, as well as finishing off chapter 7 today.

Pregnancy: 4 weeks minimum (my goodness that's not a whole lot of time!), 8 weeks till due date (still not much time!), 10 weeks maximum.

House: Backsplash... I'm not sure what else Kyle has in the plans.

Happy Monday everyone :)
