June is a crazy month for me. I kept taking things on, knowing that I'd need as many distractions as I could find in my third trimester, and it seems that I may have bitten off more than I can chew. So, there are going to be a few changes to the blog over the summer months. The most noticeable change will be that I'm putting book reviews on hold for the month of June. I just don't know how I'll find time to read, much less a book a week!

You may have noticed that book features have slowed down. That's going to keep going. The only book features I'll be posting for June will be new releases from 5 Prince Publishing. Whether that changes in July or not depends on how busy I am, but the plan is to try and get those going more regularly in July.

As for Mondays and Tuesdays, those will remain the same. You'll still get your weekly updates every Monday, though I'm not sure there will be a post accompanying each one, and chapters of Owned by the Ocean will be posted every Tuesday.

So, here's my to-do list for June:

-Write 3,000 words a day on the Heart Like an Ocean' sequel. - Edit a chapter of Owned by the Ocean each week (about a page a day). -Beta read 3 chapters a week minimum for a friend. -Get a short story finished, polished, and submitted by July 1st.

And that's just the writing side of life haha.

How I did last week:

Writing: I re-wrote chapter 5 of Owned by the Ocean, got 3 chapters beta read and wrote the first 4,000 words of the sequel to Heart Like an Ocean. All-in-all a good week.

Pregnancy: 30 weeks!

House: Brick got started. Master bathroom is completely usable aside from the shower (needs glass). Under cabinet lighting got finished.

Goals for this week:

Writing: Write chapter 6 of Owned by the Ocean. Get 3 chapters beta read and write roughly 20k for the Heart Like an Ocean sequel. Also, come up with a name for that book.

Pregnancy: 6 weeks minimum left, 10 weeks till due date, 12 weeks maximum!

House: Brick should continue to get done, maybe finished. I don't really know what else is on the docket; that's my husband's area of expertise.

Happy Monday everyone :)
