The Executive's Decision is the first book the the Keller Family Series and is FREE for digital readers. I read the normal version, but there is also a sweetened version for younger readers, or those that don't appreciate steamier romance. You can pick up the original version HERE and the sweetened version HERE. **Apparently it's not free on Amazon anymore but can still be picked up for free on Smashwords, Itunes and Barnes & Noble.**
I'm gonna start this review by saying I really enjoyed this book. It was a lot of fun, and although pretty predictable it was still enjoyable. Wow, lots of "-ble" words there.
There is an underlying mystery, what happened in Regan's past that is haunting her? And that keeps you turning page after page. And when you do discover what is going on there is the question of how Zach will handle it.
Bernadette writes likeable characters from a lovely family that has you rooting for them from page 1. As the first book in a series, it has me wanting to pick up book 2, and 3, and 4... how many are there? I want them all.
What else can I say? The pacing is good, never too long of a lull. I finished the book rather quickly and although it was free, I would have no issue shelling out a few bucks for it.
I'm giving The Executive's Decision 5 out of 5 stars.
Regan Keller fell in love with a wealthy and powerful man once. He was her boss. When that turbulent relationship ended, she swore she’d never again date someone she worked with. That was before she literally fell into her new boss’s lap.
Zachary Benson is the head of a successful empire and used to getting what he wants in the boardroom and outside of it – and what he wants is Regan Keller. He’s determined to convince Regan that even though he’s her boss, they can share a life together.
However, when Regan’s past threatens to destroy the architectural firm Zach has invested his entire career in, he has to make an executive decision whether to choose his business or fight for the woman he loves.
